This text documents a relatively large amount of sesame (49,986.3 litres) destined to be processed by women („(for) women’s work“ a2 geme2). Very probably this involved threshing, winnowing and sieving of the sesame seeds in preparation for oil milling or for storing. A considerably smaller amount (1,801.3 litres, i.e. ca. 3.5 % of the total amount) was assigned to three individuals „for sowing“ (nuĝun-še3[glossary=nuĝun]). This amount is a bit higher than the amount of ca. 3 % of the total estimated yield of sesame that was reserved for sowing in Susa according to CTPSM 1 112 (see also Dossier A.1.1.3 § 2).

o. 2 The women’s work (a2 geme2) mentioned here as a specification of the amount of sesame seeds in the first line most probably refers to the workload for the production of sesame oil through milling or for storing (see Dossiers A.1.1.8, A.1.1.7, A.1.1.12).

He dealt with sesame (še-ĝeš-i3[glossary=še-ĝeš-i3]) and sesame oil (i3-ĝeš[glossary=i3-ĝeš]) in the years Šulgi 48-Amar-Suena 1 (WMAH 020 r. i 23-26 S.48.00.00; HSS 04 003 o. v 9-14, AS.01.12.00; Orient 16 077 112 o. ii 29-iii 2. 00.00.00.00).
