Commentary
The „pounding“ or „shaking“ (tub2[glossary=tub2]) of the sesame seeds obviously denotes the action to open the capsules to obtain the seeds, and thus the verb describes a similar process as „threshing“ (ĝeš ra[glossary=ĝeš ra]). The text is dated to month VII/October, the period of the sesame harvest.
